The story of creation as found in the first two chapters of Genesis is one of the most well-known accounts in the Bible.   6. Day Six: God created land animals and, most importantly, humanity in His own image. He created them male and female, blessing them to be fruitful and multiply, to fill the earth, and to subdue it.
  7. Day Seven: God rested, blessing the seventh day and making it holy.
